who I am:

Hey there, i'm Sam! 

I grew up traveling the country, so i've always had wanderlust in my blood, and you can most likely find me planning my next trip or adventure. I’m happiest out in nature- camping, hiking, spending every weekend at the beach- and although I currently live in one of the flattest places around (shout out to Delaware), my heart belongs to the mountains, and I love shooting anywhere that takes me back home to them. My work reflects my love of nature and the free-spirited vibe i’ve always been so deeply connected to!

My future goals are to live on a converted bus or in a tiny cabin in the woods somewhere and live out my sustainable homesteading dreams- complete with a giant garden, lots of chickens and an art studio, of course.

I love all things vintage, (I run a second-hand vintage clothing biz with my amazing girlfriend- you can find us over on insta @cherrybombvintagethreads) and being a homeschooling mom to the coolest little boy. I’m an August Leo, so you can also count on me being your biggest hype woman at your session!

I am a nationally published photographer known for creative portrait photography in the eastern shore area. (but i’m always ready to hop on a plane to shoot wherever you are- so let’s explore together!)

what I do: For the past 10+ years I’ve had the honor of using my creative vision to empower others to see themselves in a new way. My goal is always to inspire each person in front of my lens with self-love and confidence in who they are. Through my sessions, I help my clients experience their own unique beauty like they've never seen it before. I love to capture your story in a way that feels natural and authentic to the essence of who you truly are.

Everything I do comes down to this: revealing just how valuable, worthy, and immensely special YOU are. Bringing out your one of a kind beauty in a new and creative way. You are MORE than just what you see in the mirror. And I want to show you.
